Counting of votes are going on for the Delhi Assembly elections. In the initial trends, the Aam Aadmi Party has gained a big lead. The ruling party is leading in more than 60 seats in the AAP trend, while around 9 seats are seen in the BJP account. Congress could not open accounts even in the last election.
After the victory, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that he won from Patparganj because of the hardwork and that this is a victory of work and education. He said that BJP tried to spread the politics of hate but our voters and Delhiites were not divided. Sisodia said that BJP’s hate politics has been lost.
Manish said that I am proud to be the MLA of Patparganj once again and this is a victoryis because of the work of Arvind Kejriwal as he did development work for the public here as a son of Delhi. In the initial stages of counting, Manish has been competing with the BJP and he was seen lagging behind in the votes, after all he has won by a margin of barely two thousand votes.
Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh said that the people of Delhi have denied the politics of hate and have given the message of love. He said that the results have sent a message to the whole country that now politics will be done only in the name of work. He said that along with Manish, other leaders will also win the election, we will have to wait. Sanjay Singh said that the AAP will win more than 60 seats.
Gautam Gambhir, MP from Delhi said that the defeat will be reviewed. He said that perhaps we could not take the public into confidence but there was no shortage in our efforts. Gambhir said that BJP needs more hard work in Delhi and we have to work hard on the ground.
BJP was confident of victory–
Delhi government minister Gopal Rai said that my victory figure is going to be higher than last time. At the same time, Manoj Tiwari said that whatever results will come in Delhi, the leader of the state president will be my responsibility, but all the workers work together. He also said that it is too early to say anything and the difference in votes is very less. Tiwari said that everything will be clear in a few hours. However, they are still waiting for the BJP’s victory.
Congress spokesperson Ragini Nayak said on the trends that even though the Congress is losing elections, it has not lost its spirits. He said that BJP has done negative politics in Delhi and their leaders kept on making provocative statements. On the Aam Aadmi Party, Nayak said that these people do not even stand with the public. He said that our core voter is looking towards the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi and the effort to keep it tied will continue.
